This is a page to document, at a high level, if specific MARC tags should be categorically removed from MARC records, or if they can be generally kept. If they aren't on the "Delete It" list, there still may be specific situations where the content of the field should be deleted. An example of this is 856 fields that have links to tables of contents, cover images or author biographies should be removed from the records.
