Last Updated 10/06/2026

Patron Account Details in the Self-Check Interface

On This Page

The self-check interface includes limited information about patron accounts, including items checked out, current holds, and money owed for fines. Patrons may renew items from this interface.

Patrons may view limited information about their account when using the self-check interface. For more details, they should log into the OPAC on a standard computer or mobile device.

Items Checked Out

To view a list of Items currently checked out, click the View Items Out button on the right hand side of the screen after logging in.

Within the Items Out interface, patrons may either:

  • Print a list of all items checked out the account
  • Renew selected items if their account allows renewals and there are any remaining on the circulation transaction

Holds

Patrons may view and print a list of the items they currently have on hold by clicking on the View Holds button on the right hand side of the screen.

Patrons may not place or cancel holds from the self-check interface.

Fines

Patrons may view and print a list of fines they currently owe by clicking on the View Details button in the Fines box on the right hand side of the screen.

The list of fines will include:

  • The type of charge (Circulation or Grocery bill)
  • The title of the item for which they are being charged (in the Details column)
  • The total amount billed
  • The total amount paid so far
  • The remaining balance

Once a fine has been paid in full, it will no longer appear in this interface. To see recent billing history, patrons should log into their account from the OPAC on a standard computer or mobile device. To see older bills and payments, patrons must inquire with library staff.
